The Collegio Alberoni in Piacenza is a large architectural structure of religious, artistic and scientific interest. In addition to the seminary and the church of San Lazzaro, the complex also includes a fine art gallery, an astronomical observatory, a natural science museum and a rich library. In one area of the building is the famous Alberoni Gallery, which houses numerous paintings, including the famous "Ecce Homo" by Antonello da Messina and several Flemish paintings from the 16th century, as well as 18 tapestries of great value dating from the 16th to the 17th century.
