Angelo Stefanucci International Crib Museum – More than 3,000 pieces
The "Angelo Stefanucci" International Typological Nativity Museum has a collection of nativity scenes, including scenographic ones, and figures of considerable historical and artistic value: more than 3,000 pieces, from all over Italy and dozens of countries, offering a broad and comprehensive overview of the various interpretations and settings of the Nativity, as well as an illustration of the materials that can be used. On display are nativities made of Lecce papier-mâché, Sicilian terracotta, wood, ceramic, glass, mother-of-pearl, stone, charcoal, cloth, marzipan, eggs, corn leaves, etc., as well as Neapolitan statues from the 18th and 19th centuries.
