Findings revealed a mysterious marble plate with a strange scheme carved on it between the columns in front of the entrance of Basilica dei Santissimi Quattro Coronati. It is a rectangular plate with 15 parallel lines and some Roman numbers carved in between. A few researchers think that it is a kind of ancient wheel of fortune. The player threw a small object like a cork or a small ball trying to make it stop on the highest number: the higher the number, the luckier the player.
