Carducci House Museum – A heritage of memories and culture

0
The Carducci House Museum, with its original furnishings and fittings, is where Giosue Carducci lived from 1890 until his death, collecting and organising a considerable heritage of memories and culture. The institute takes care of and promotes the preservation, public use and study of the literary archive of the writer, as well as the enhancement of the historical residence, the house museum and the monumental garden that surrounds it. Inaugurated on 6 November 1921, it is the workshop of the National Edition of the Works of the man of letters and houses, on the first floor, the Commission for Language Texts, of which Carducci was president from 1888.
