Carrara Academy Museum – Second floor, Room VII
Room VII on the second floor of the Accademia Carrara museum contains 16th-century works from central and northern Italy. Among the paintings are: the "Portrait of Gerolamo Venier" by Tintoretto, the "Stigmatised St. Francis" by El Greco, the "Blessing of St. John" by Jacopo Bassano. In the room there are also some important Central Italian paintings: 'Preaching of St. Anthony' by Bernardino Pinturicchio, 'Adoration of the Child' by Pietro Perugino and above all 'St. John the Evangelist', 'Mary Magdalene' and 'St. Sebastian' by Raphael.
