Cascina Pozzobonelli – The talent of Bramante
In the second half of the 15th century, the nobleman Gian Giacomo Pozzonobelli transformed a convent into his holiday house and renamed it as Cascina Pozzonobelli. Five centuries back the area was outside the city borders. The building, which can be even attributed to Bramante, unfortunately was ruined during the years. What can be seen today is the Villa's Chapel and the stone columns with the capitals covered with vegetal ornamentation, which hold up tile curved arches.
