In the second room on the first floor of the Church of St. Andrea al Quirinale, there is a sculpture by Pierre Legros created in 1702-1703. It is not well-known but beautiful indeed, representing St. Stanislas Kostka on his deathbed. The tunic made of black marble with its details is incredible. Curiosity: there is a painting behind the bed, representing the Saint embraced by the Holy Mary and other Saints. The painting was placed after the sculpture and the size did not fit: it was necessary to cut away a portion of the frame to fit the space.
