Under the main altar of the Church of St. Bibiana, the column where the saint was tied and whipped to death is still conserved. The column has been damaged by the believers during the years: it was thought that the wood's powder mixed with the well water and the grass growing where the saint died had magical powers able to cure any kind of illness.
