The tomb of Bartholomew's daughter, Medea, also by Amadeo, was placed on the left wall of the Colleoni Chapel in 1842. In the centre of the sarcophagus is a relief depicting the Pietà, surrounded on either side by two coats of arms, while on the lid is the composed statue of Medea herself, a very young sleeping lady. The statues of Saints Catherine and Clare and the Virgin and Child crown the valuable complex.
