Corso Duca di Genova 160 – “Bad Heart” (1995)
"Cuore cattivo" is a 1995 film directed by Umberto Marino, based on the play "Dove nasce la notizia". It tells the story of a summer on the outskirts of Rome, in which two young men prepare to rob a tobacco shop but are stopped by the police. One of the two robbers, Claudio Scalise (Kim Rossi Stuart), manages to escape by finding refuge in Esther Cipriani's (Cecilia Genovesi) flat, pretending to be a Sip technician. Esther's house, where Claudio barricades himself, and who will be under police siege for the rest of the story, is located at Corso Duca di Genova 160, Lido di Ostia. Claudio manages to get into the house through the gate of the private garden overlooking Piazza Agrippa, where the negotiations with the commissioner (Massimo Ghini) will take place.
