Count Cagliostro’s house –

0
Giuseppe Balsamo, Count of Cagliostro, was without a doubt one of the most discussed figures of his time. Described by some as a reckless adventurer, by others as a powerful occultist, the Count briefly sojourned in Turin with his wife, Lorenza Serafina Feliciani, with whom he took residence in a palace on via Barbaroux, taking care to choose its location in accordance with astrology and numerology. Apparently the building, now bearing street number 27, was then instead numbered 25: two digits whose sum is 7, a number traditionally associated with alchemy. Despite its modern renovations, "Cagliostro's house" is still surrounded by a certain air of mystery.
