Dante Foschi Historical Museum – A collection of historical memorabilia

0
The Dante Foschi Historical Museum is located in the hall of honour of the former Casa del Mutilato (House of the Mutilated) and houses a vast collection of historical relics from World War I, the Ethiopian War and the 1940s-45 period. The Museum, which was created thanks to donations from members of the National Association of Disabled and Invalids of War, contains memorabilia from various historical periods (from the struggles for independence and Italian unification to the Second World War) of various types. In particular, there are uniforms, weapons, a rich collection of medals and honours, coins, decorations and military badges. There is also a remarkable collection of postcards, mainly with military subjects, arranged in containers.
