Doria Pamphilj Gallery – Masterpieces of Italian and foreign art
The Doria Pamphilj Gallery was created in 1651 thanks to the work of Giambattista Pamphilj, who became Pope under the name of Innocent X. In the gallery you can admire numerous works and goods such as furniture, statues and paintings. In addition to the world-famous Italian artists such as Caravaggio, Titian, Raphael, Carracci and Bernini, the collection also includes Flemish masters of the Baroque period, the pride of the Doria Pamphilj collection, such as the French landscape painter Lorrain and the Spanish artist Diego Velázquez, the most representative of the Baroque period.
