Egyptian Museum – The cult of Apis
Several legends attribute Egyptian origins to the city of Turin: its mythical founder, an Egyptian prince named either Phaeton or Eridanus, is said to have chosen this land to erect a city dedicated to the cult of Apis, a god portrayed in the guise of a bull.
