Executioner’s House – Voices of the fallen
The House of the Executioner, also known as the House of Agrippa, is a building dating back to the 11th or 12th century, known mainly because it was traditionally believed to be the home of the man who carried out capital punishments at the time of the Republic of Genoa. The place is still surrounded by a sinister reputation. According to some testimonies, in fact, at certain times of the year, it is possible to hear the lamentations of those condemned to death who passed through here.
