A few scenes of "Roman Holiday" (1953), one of the masterpiece in film history directed by William Wyler and starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn, was shot at the popular Piazza di Trevi. Not a lot of people know that: a lot of spectators gathered during the shooting of the scenes around the city. According to Gregory Peck's words, the presence of the audience with its reactions and participation played an important role and helped the William Wyler to decide whether a scene was a good one or not.
