Piazza Sant'Antonio is home to the headquarters of the Gremio dei Falegnami, an ancient guild which, along with all the other Gremi, takes part in the annual Descent of the Candlesticks on 14 August, carrying its characteristic candlestick in procession. The Falegnami candlestick was built in 1921 by the Clemente brothers, well-known furniture makers from Sassari. The category's insignia is carved on the shaft, while the capital features an image of their patron saint, St Joseph.
