Dario Fo and Franca Rame lived at 132 Corso di Porta Romana for a long time until their death. Dario Luigi Angelo Fo was an Italian playwright, actor, director, writer, author, illustrator, painter, set designer and activist. Author of plays that made use of the comic stylistic features of the Italian commedia dell'arte, in 1997 he won the Nobel Prize for Literature with the following motivation: "following the tradition of medieval jesters, he mocks power by restoring dignity to the oppressed". At his side, until 2012, was Franca Rame, an Italian theatre actress, playwright and politician.
