0
At Indro Montanelli Public Gardens there is a statue dedicated to an outstanding but, at the same time, almost unknown Milanese man: Teodoro Moneta, the only Italian who has won the Nobel prize for peace. He participated at the Five Days of Milan and at the Expedition of the Thousand of Garibaldi, he was appointed as Chief of Staff of the Italian Army and he later became the director of the newspaper "Il Secolo" in Milan. He was the founder of the Society for International Peace and Justice, which make him receive the Nobel prize.
