The Loggia Cornaro is a space that is still used as a stage set for theatrical performances, in particular for Ruzzante's comedies. Galileo was also a fan of these plays, and it was only thanks to them that he was able to learn the Venetian dialect, a feat that was even less easy at the time than it is today.
