Luciano Pavarotti Municipal Theatre – Maestro’s La Bohème

In this magnificent theatre, whose construction work began in 1838, Luciano Pavarotti performed La Bohème in 1986, with the young winners of the Philadelphia competition, and from that year onwards the city of Modena became the venue for the European finals of the singing competition. After the tenor's death in 2007, the city decided to dedicate the theatre to him, as a tribute to a very talented and charismatic Modenese character who made Modena one of the world capitals of opera.
