The Museum of Natural History of the Mediterranean, housed in the historic Villa Henderson, comprises several routes and exhibition rooms, including the Hall of Man, the Hall of Geopaleontology, the Hall of Man in the Mediterranean and the Hall of Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy. A fifth route, inaugurated in 2009, deals with Flight in Nature and offers an overview of the strategies developed by plant and animal organisms from prehistoric times to the present day. The same complex also houses the planetarium and an auditorium (with over 100 seats) equipped with the most modern sound and visual reproduction equipment.
