Mincuzzi Warehouse Building – An Art Nouveau monument

0
The Palazzo dei Magazzini Mincuzzi is a building designed in 1923 by the architect Aldo Forcignanò, a true Art Nouveau monument, where precious fabrics and exclusive articles were originally traded. The dome, visible from a distance, is very beautiful. It consists of a sphere covered with one-square-centimetre glass tesserae covered with gold foil. The interior of the building is dominated by the presence of a beautiful marble staircase leading to the first floor, using rosewood, steel, glossy ivory lacquered wood, luminous glass cement and grit tiles. The result is a beautiful monument, elegant and refined, in perfect nouveau style.
