Monteripido “San Francesco” Convent – Father Diego Donati Gallery
The permanent exhibition of Diego Donati's graphic works faithfully reproduces the studio-laboratory of the engraver friar, which was located in the Monteripido Convent. The Gallery still preserves the presses used for printing and other tools for preparing and biting the plates. On display are more than 200 works including woodcuts, etchings and aquatints made from 1953 to the 1990s, depicting suggestive views of the city and the Umbrian landscape.
