Municipal Museum of the Risorgimento – Paintings, weapons and objects
Located on the ground floor of Casa Carducci, the Civic Museum of the Risorgimento was founded in 1888 as a secular and patriotic temple, a witness to the Italian unification that had just taken place. Today it is above all a museum of the city's history, bearing witness to the events that took place between 1796, the year of the arrival of the French revolutionary troops in Bologna, and 1918, the final year of the First World War. It exhibits paintings, weapons, uniforms, flags, posters, pamphlets and patriotic objects.
