Museo Storico della Liberazione is a building well-known to have hosted the Nazi soldiers under SS Major Kapler during the Second World War. Here, more than 2,000 patriots, soldiers and common people were questioned, tortured and often killed. A message carved by a prisoner to his mother is very touching: "Mother, don't cry if I die. Your son is strong and brave, dry your tears and don't suffer because for the love for our country one wins or dies..".
