The Museum of Etruscan and Italic Antiquities was founded by Massimo Pallottino in the 1950s and opened in 1962 on the occasion of the VI International Congress of Prehistoric and Protohistoric Sciences. Since then, the museum has increased its holdings. The current museum collection consists of a large number of original archaeological finds, casts, models and models of Etruscan culture in pre-Roman Italy.
