Museum of Marine Biology and Palaeontology – Fossils, finds and images
The Museum of Marine Biology and Palaeontology was founded as a cultural-scientific association that manages and owns the materials, contents and settings of a naturalistic museum, where Angelo Vazzana's collection or scientific collection of marine biology and palaeontology is located. The result of more than 30 years of study and scientific research, it documents the history of animal and plant life of the past and present, and in particular that of the land (fossils) and marine environment. The palaeontology section includes fossil finds arranged according to the evolutionary principle, while the marine biology section presents the species that inhabit the sea today. The fossils, finds and present-day images are mainly from the marine environment.
