Museum of Memoria Giocosa – The Toys of the Jewish

0
Fritz Billig, a Jewish man who moved to New York to escape Nazism, left a unique treasure to Lisa and Franco Palmieri in 1979: thousands of toy cars produced by Jewish factories that the Nazis wanted to withdraw from circulation. Billig started to collect the toys when he was still a child and he continued the collection during his whole life in memory of all the kids, regardless their religion and culture, who played with these toys. The complete collection can be seen today in this museum.
