The Museo degli Strumenti Musicali e della Liuteria Bresciana (Museum of Musical Instruments and Violin Making in Brescia), located in the 17th century palace of the Martinengo Cà di Villa family, contains numerous musical instruments of all types, bow, plucked and wind instruments, including those of non-European origin, as well as a rich collection of musical scores. The exhibition is divided into four sections: ethnic instruments, mechanical instruments, an auditorium with classical European instruments with an adjoining luthier's workshop and the library. All the instruments are in perfect working order and can be tried out with the assistance of the staff.
