Museum of the Risorgimento – Testimonies and objects
The Museum of the Risorgimento collects evidence and objects, from the pre-unification period to the First World War, donated to the Municipality of Ravenna by citizens, often by those same patriots who took part in the Risorgimento battles, between the end of the nineteenth century and the early decades of the twentieth century. The fundamental nucleus of the "historical" collection has also been joined over time by other donations, even to this day, including the important Guerrini bequest, which has enriched the city's Risorgimento heritage. The exhibition develops chronologically from the years following the Congress of Vienna to the years when national unity was achieved, offering relics and documents relating to the Risorgimento in Ravenna for viewing.
