Museum of Zoology – Vertebrates and invertebrates

0
The Museum of Zoology at the University of Padua houses the historical collections of the Department of Biology, displaying the most valuable exhibits of historical and scientific interest. In the course of its long history, which began in 1734, the Museum has experienced ups and downs, from moments of splendour to others of total abandonment. It is currently housed in Via Jappelli and consists of four rooms: the first tells the story of the Museum with a look at the different animal groups, the second displays vertebrates from exotic places, the third is dedicated to the local fauna of the Veneto region and the fourth to specimens of vertebrates and invertebrates from the marine environment.
