Natural History Museum Giacomo Doria – Four million
The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale Giacomo Doria, founded in 1867, is known in the scientific world for its four million specimens from all over the world. Its collections, of high scientific value, are mainly zoological, but there are also botanical, mineral, rock and fossil collections. Particularly noteworthy are the ornithological collection, the rich insect collections, the Mammal collection and the Palaeontology Hall.
