Natural History Museum – Italy’s largest nature museum

0
The Civic Museum of Natural History in Milan, which was established in 1838 and has since grown thanks to donations and acquisitions of collections and exhibits of inestimable scientific value, is today Italy's largest and most important natural history museum. The museum collection is divided into 23 rooms with about 700 showcases and over 80 dioramas, faithful reconstructions of natural environments. Three main thematic "reading" profiles are proposed to the public: the forms of nature, the evolution of life on Earth and the relationship between organisms and the environment. Thanks to an accurate museographic structure, it is possible to observe precious natural exhibits in a path of scientific knowledge on several levels, depending on the preparation, interests and sensitivity of each visitor.
