Perini Palace – The incorporated church
Situated almost opposite the city gate, Palazzo Perini was built in successive phases from the mid 16th century onwards. The portal dates back to the 16th century and gives access to the courtyard, which has two porticoed sides interspersed with two others. However, it is at the end of the courtyard that the secret of this construction lies: the covered room with barrel vaults was in fact the old 15th-century church of San Lorenzino, incorporated into the building.
