At Piazza della Rotonda you can find one of the few dragon-shaped fountains of the city. The municipality of Rome distributed several small fountains with a dragon-shaped tap all around the city in 1874. Some years later, it was decided to replace them with new ones known by the people as "nasone" ("big nose") because of their shape.
