Pratello Gate – The thirteenth door
Among all the gates of Bologna, there is one that remained forever walled up and forgotten, the thirteenth: the Pratello gate. Today partially visible in the wall overlooking the side streets of the Church of San Rocco, the Pratello gate was closed after the Canetoli family fled from there, guilty of murdering Annibale Bentivoglio in 1445.
