In the San Salvatore pharmacy, 'teriaca', an ancient Renaissance medicine made from snake skin, was once prepared as a panacea. In the basement of the shop there are still vestiges of the workshop where the mixture was produced: the copper cauldron for boiling the ingredients and the well from which the water was drawn.
