Studio Museum Carlo Mattioli – The Master’s works

0
The Studio in Palazzo Smeraldi was Carlo Mattioli's last studio from the late 1960s onwards. Its large rooms witnessed the birth of his most famous painting cycles and were visited by the greatest intellectuals of the 20th century: writers, poets, registers, photographers, journalists and art historians attracted by the charisma of the solitary artist from Parma. In the rooms where the Maestro worked, where everything has remained as it was, some works from his personal collection are exhibited in rotation alongside loans from public and private collections. Since January 2018, the Carlo Mattioli House Museum has been part of the Associazione Nazionale Case della Memoria, the Italian network of house museums.
