Teatro romano – Escape from San Vittore
The legend says that San Vittore, in order to escape the Roman soldiers sent by Emperor Massimiano during one of his terrible persecutory campaigns, found shelter under the arcade of Teatro Romano, which can be found under today's Palazzo della Borsa. However, his escape wasn't successfully at the end as he was captured in 303, tortured and beheaded.
