The Tempio Voltiano is an important museum in the city of Como, dedicated to Alessandro Volta and his prestigious scientific work. Visiting the museum you will find on the ground floor the first scientific instruments that the scientist used for his experiments in physics. The gallery on the first floor is occupied by the description of the figure of Alessandro Volta, and focuses on all the salient phases of his life, including the various awards he received before and after his death. In fact, the showcases contain the original prizes he won and a series of celebratory elements, such as the 10,000 lire note with his effigy on one side and the Volta Temple on the other.
