The Basilica of St. Lorenzo Maggiore – The guardian of the porters
Inside the Basilica, a chapel dedicated to St. Aqulino can be seen. Aquilino became the guardian of the porters after his murder in 1015. A group of heretics stabbed and threw him into a sewer where his body was found by some porters that carried it to St. Lawrence.
