The Basilica of St. Simpliciano – The seal of Agilulfo
The bricks of the Basilica of St. Simpliciano are ruined by time and history. Interestingly, on one of these bricks a unique seal can be seen. It is the seal of the Longobardic king Agilulfo, as an evidence of the restoration of the façade probably carried out between 590 and 615 D.C.
