The house of Lorenzo de’ Medici –

0
At 29, Corso Magenta you can see some recesses and windows in the brick wall inside the palace: these are the ruins of the house that Ludovico Sforza gave to Lorenzo de' Medici as a gift for his stay in the city. Lorenzo was sent by his father Piero to Milan in order to get some experience before entering politics. However, his stay in Milan was short: he had to go back to Florence in 1466 to bring Ippolita Maria Sforza and his husband Afonso to the Kingdom of Naples.
