The Museum of People and Cultures – Buddha’s head
The main attraction of the Museum of People and Cultures is with no doubts the "Buddha's head", a bronze statue of the 17th century coming from Myanmar, a work that symbolises perfectly the spirit of Buddhism. The aquiline nose, the very arched eyebrows and the typical hairline are all characteristics of mercy and of an elevated spirit. The long stretched earlobes expresses sacrifice, the protuberance on the head a superior intelligence and the faint smile peacefulness.
