Why is there a cat on the cornice of Palazzo Grazioli? According to the legend, one day, thanks to the cry of a cat on that cornice, a mother could save her child that was falling down from one of the windows. Later, it was decided to dedicate a statue to the hero-cat: for this purpose the Egyptian statue found inside the temple of the Goddess Isis was used.
