Via Pietro Alighieri was the location for some scenes of the film 'Deserto Rosso' (1964), the ninth feature film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, the first in colour. The door of Giuliana's (Monica Vitti) building, where the first meeting with Corrado Zeller (Richard Harris) took place, is now walled up. The entrance is located at number 8.
