Villa Migone – Where the Germans surrendered

0
Villa Migone is a hidden villa, not very visible and not very well known by the Genoese, but it is very important in the history of the city because here, on the evening of 24 April 1945, General Gunter Meinhold, commander of the German troops stationed in Genoa, signed the act of surrender in front of Cardinal Pietro Boetto and Remo Scappini, partisan commander. With this act, the Second World War ended in Genoa.
