Zuckermann Palace – The Bottacin Museum

0
Palazzo Zuckermann, the symbol of wealthy and industrialised Padua, is home to the prestigious Bottacin Museum, which boasts one of the richest collections of coins and medals in the world, around 60 thousand pieces. In addition to the extremely rare medallions of the emperors Magnentius, Septimius Severus and Hadrian, the museum has some interesting pre-Roman coins, from the 4th-2nd centuries BC, and one of the most complete existing collections of the Venetian series.
